What is serendipitaciousjoy?
Serendipitaciousjoy is a seventeen year old female who hails from the distant islands of the Philippines. Although imported to the magnificent land of Australia at a mere five months old, she still holds the Pinay characteristics of dark-brown hair and eyes, tanned skin, and flat nose. Do not be decieved, however, as, although she appears to be a true Filipina, she does not speak the tongue of her homeland (however, understands a little), and is oddly tall for one of her kind.
This shy and quiet creature can, at times, be really loud and hyper. If bitten, please see your doctor immediately.
Serendipitaciousjoy enjoys music of an array of genres, as seen in her music tastes of Paramore, Super Junior, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber (just to name a few). She takes part in a traditional Filipino stringed ensemble (or Rondalla) called Rondanihan, and has since the tender age of seven. Furthermore, she can play (or has played in the past) a variety of instruments:
- Guitar
- Double Bass/Bass Guitar
- Piano/Keyboard/Xylophone
- Banduria/Laud/Octavina
- Recorder
- Kazoo
She also enjoys singing :) but can’t dance.
Since October 2008, the Serendipitaciousjoy has been an active member of the amazing CFC-YFC, also known as Youth For Christ. Following that amazing experience, she has formed a love for God that is like nothing else. Although failing, at times, in her service, she strives to be a good YFC in all aspects of her life, which is seen in how she strives for the best in everything.
Currently holds a job at Kumon :) and has completed the English programme (hopefully to finish the Maths). Enjoys LOTE, especially Japanese (but tries hard in Korean and her motherland-language of Tagalog). She is also currently learning Mandarin, and has a job at EB Games :DDD Although she doesn’t actually do much gaming, she loves it to bits.
